About Us
Texas Tail Chasers is a Galveston-based fishing charter service, specializing in bay and near-shore fishing. We fish for trophy Speckled Trout, Redfish, Sharks, and a variety of other game fish. We cater to anglers of every skill level! We are happy to welcome kids, families, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate trips, and tournaments.
(Trips include rods, reels, tackle, bait, and all fish cleaned and bagged)
Captain Jimmy
Captain Jimmy New is a U.S.C.G. licensed Captain who has been fishing the waters of Galveston Bay for over 20 years and has also guided and competed in various tournaments all over the Galveston Bay Complex for over 5+ years. He takes pride in putting his customers in the best spots for catching a possible fish of a lifetime, while also having a great and memorable experience on the water!

Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sharks, Bull Reds, Jacks, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum
Bay Trip & Near-shore

3 People – $550
4 People – $600
Near-shore fishing – $650
For Tournaments – Add $100
